A Little Fiction for Your Friday

Technically I'm still on bloggy break. I'll be back soon... potentially with some changes. Intriguing? Hmm... For today, I'll let you peek in on a little fiction I wrote this week as part of Chuck Wendig's Flash Fiction Challenge. Here is a link to my story: The Field . It's very short, hence "flash fiction," so it will only take a minute to read. Let me know what you think (kindly- maybe if you don't like it you can say what my stepson says when he doesn't like my cooking: "I'm not fond."). The introduction to my story has a link to the original challenge where you can see other writers' stories. Happy reading!

I don't know about you, but I'm trying to get my house back to some sense of normal. We still have decorations to put away and routine cleaning that fell off routine. I have a new computer (thanks to my wonderful husband) to replace my dying computer and now I have to transfer files and learn how to use Windows 8 after being a Mac girl for the past, oh, 12 years or so. Aaack! (I'll let you know how that goes.) And speaking of my wonderful husband, he's been sick off and on for a long time and it reached a new peak right after Christmas. Nothing serious, but we need to get him better. It's time to restore some order. Time to get back in balance. While I work on all this stuff in my home life, I'll be taking a bit of a bloggy break. Yes, I know, I've already been absent since Chri
